Nothing was missing ....according to the receiver. They were not appreciative of a driver looking out for their property. They said it was an in house matter and they would take care of it. Go figure.....ya try to do the right thing .....It makes you wonder why they weren't concerned about their business being left wide open.

A little Alberta Clipper for snow lovers from the North Dakota to New Jersey...yes New Jersey we mentioned you in a SNOW FORECAST! The fast moving system will move from the Upper Plains tonight into New Jersey tomorrow night. Since this will be a night-time event in the PA-NJ area (Wed pm into pre-dawn Thu) it has a chance to over perform a bit as typically clippers are good for 1-2" at most. Doubt anyone sees 4" but a few isolated 2-3" amounts possible in areas of Southeast PA and Southern NJ that have had next to no snow this Winter. Enjoy!
More impressive snowfall totals in the Southern Rocky Mountains in New Mexico and the Pan Handle of Texas.

This afternoon I was officilly assigned to truck 25196.
There were two guys apparently ready to duke it out to get that truck though lol. Did an inspection with the guy who assigns trucks and the truck is nearly immaculate. One little spot of what might be tar or adhesive near the bottom edge of driver's door which was marked as a paint scrape but might actually come off. And a couple small scratches on the cabinet below the tv mount. Neither of which will incur charges on future inspections for me. They inspect the trucks every time they come on for service. No damaging the trucks and not reporting it. They have a road hazard warranty to things like the ice chunks and road debris that caused the primary damage to my 680 wouldn't be charged to me. Tomorrow apparently I will be having breakfast with the company execs and then signing my paperwork for my truck and my DM will be getting me a load home to get Avett and my stuff!! Last night in the hotel. I'm gathering my stuff and tomorrow will be settling in to my truck. It currently has 20794 miles on it. So still a new truck. It's actually only four numbers older than my old coach's truck and came in at the same time. And Hirschbach will be opening a terminal in Atlanta which is much closer to home!

Well depending on when you get here be careful. Looking at some bad weather coming in on Friday. And it is also
Gasparilla weekend so there will be a bunch of drunks out on the road up there. -
In Pauls Valley OK at a small Shell, but plenty of parking. Tried the Loves first, but no love. Still after Alvarado, I won't turn my nose up at a small truck stop again. Picked up the Coca Cola plant in Dallas was supposed to swap in OKC , but could only make it here. Swap driver will be here after midnight, but I have unhooked. Got a preplan to pickup at Cargill in Dodge City KS going to Johnstown NY and some unknown. Time to sneak a nap before swap shows up. Deuces.

Funny thing is they tell lease drivers they wont be sitting... "Lease drivers if you get to a drop and your waiting 3 or 4 hours to get unloaded call your dm and they will find a company driver in the area thats loaded to swap with you and they will sit on the load"... Lol... I know yall are saying what? And people really belive that?
Lol yes they are...
But they have a few folks on the fence because they said... After trucks come off the fleet they sell it for around $50k.... So they getting almost double of what they pay for it... Which if they buying in bulk like they do every year. Im sure kenworth is giving them one hell of a deal!! Oh and they said you company drivers get the old trucks... Lol right after that a company driver came on the yard driving really nice truck...jdmredneck33, HometimeQueen and gntorres61 Thank this. -
Yea and check this out... Another guy came on the yard and we went to asking questions... He said, 1. He leases, 2. This is his second week. 3. He said last week he ran 2500 miles and his check was $1000 after everything and went on to say i love this place i love this place...everyone was like wow thats good...lol i said no it its not. He hasnt made a truck payment yet because the first 3 weeks are payment free. If he was making his payments right now he would be walking a way with $400... Thats $350 less then what a company driver made running that Same miles... Hes not doing something right...
.honeybadger., gntorres61 and HometimeQueen Thank this.
