Same idea in the cabinets . Rolling your clothes, you can get way more stuff in there. Use the under bunk area fully. Best of luck.

I'd take a picture and show you all what I'm working with, but I'm embarrassed at the disorganization I have going at the moment.
Loving the idea you have triplesix, unfortunately that wouldn't leave a lot of headroom for anyone. (Not vetoing the idea, I may even do that. Just gotta figure out proper spacing.) I'm about 5'5", standing straight up there's about 1 inch between me and the roof. The other thing I'd have to fight is mattress size. There's a couple inches of overhang, so the mattress doesn't fit properly into the bunk area.
Making shelving for the cabinets is easy enough, I just have to do it.
...now, I may be asking a borderline dumb question. I've seen some rigs that actually have space underneath the bunk itself, just reach down. Mine doesn't have that, it does however have a space that leads into the side compartments on the outside. So which do you mean when you say use the space under your bunk? -
How about you just leave your family at home and just treat this like a job? No other job can a person bring their family members and pets. I never got the "appeal". Truck driving is a dangerous job...why people want to put their loved ones in harms way is beyond me.
I see posts on here all the time about "Who lets you have riders" or "Who lets you bring pets"---and these people will accept the worst paying, crappiest benefit, worst equipment on the road, jobs just so Fido can ride along.....and then whine about how bad their company is 2 or 3 months later. PHENOMINAL! -
Bunk lifts up, there are three sections under there. The two side compartments and a center section.
