Not sure which board to post this on.

Running under a 49 state and Canada authority (not mine), took buses to Alaska, Northwest Territories and Alberta tar sands area. These were nice paying broker loads. Would like to deal directly but the bus companies have not been helpful with info on how they send out these trips. Does anyone have insight on how or where to do this niche bus drive away?

I did that for 5 years . Good Co. for the most part .Don t know what their volume is these days but I remember it did fluctuate some times. It was one of the best jobs I had driving .You could go just about anywhere you wanted .They did Canada also, some like the Great White North, I preferred warmer climes my self.Pay was good, anywhere from .45 to ..85 cpm depended on what you were moving.Did a bunch of motorhomes from Iowa to the southern states. Some buses, for a while they did a bunch of municipal buses ,coast to coast, you had to have P endorsment on your lic.for those.Crane trucks,Cement trcks.Alot of cab and chassis vehicles.Semi s,some new ,some not so new.At the time I was doing it F/S was just being implimented for fuel expense so you had to choose the ones with the best rate and F/S to do real well.Did decked sets to Canada from SC and they d fly you back to get another set. That was fun for a while.
I v been away from it for 4 years ,seems like longer.I had a tow car and carried my gear around with me .I went alot of places I otherwise would nt have . Once you delivered you could do anything you wanted to . it was self dispatch ,you plan it out ,where you go.If you want explore the country it s a good way to do it.....
