Ive tried reaching watkins with no luck. I applied about two weeks ago. Recieved one email. Since than, Ive tryed emailing them, and calling and no one ever calls back. Does anyone know whats going on here? It really bothers me that apparently no one there cares to answer me.

I can PM you the correct number/web site if you want. But it sounds unusual for them.
Ask to speak to Roxy -
Watkins Shepard. When I call they turn me over to recruiting and I always get "Sandys" voicemail. Roxy was the one that originally emailed me but wouldnt respond back to me. Unless maybe they denied my application for whatever reason.
What time are they usually in the offices till? Maybe Ill call back in a bit or tomorrow to see if I can talk to Roxy. -
I've just glanced over a few of your post. Do you have a Class A CDL? You're going to need it, otherwise your wasting your time.
Roxy gets really busy sometimes. So not hearing from her, isn't that unusual.
Hell, I've had calls go unanswered for days on end. Not "important" calls. But still.
Best time to call. Would be between 11am and 4pm... your time. You might even want to wait until noon. As they hit the meetings, early morning.
Our openings are tight at the moment. So it might be awhile before you could even get in a 10 day orientation/class. -
I only have a class B. I thought they had their own training/school to get a class A through them Well that sucks. Appreciate the help danc.

Hey Mr. D,
They do have their own school. It's in Missoula, Montana and the only one they have for getting your CDL's. Like Danc said, the next available class will be June 23. They will get you there, by bus, and put you up at the school. School is 30 days. -

I was only home with these guys two days in April and ran over 12,000 miles and the pay still wasn't even close to what they advertise.
I quit in the beginning of May for a local job. I drive about 300 miles a day and have about 10 deliveries in the Northern CA area and will make in the mid $50K range. Home every night, weekends off, two weeks of vacation per year that starts accumulating after 90 days and an excellent HMO benefit package costing me only about $50/month for the entire family. I would go get some experience and them go local into an hourly position like I did....the money is soooooo much better.
It only takes about 6 months experience to get the good local companies to look at you....
