Don't drink any water or anything else the day of your physical. Don't smoke that day either. Smoking temporarily raises your BP. Go for a walk at a brisk pace. That's a good one.

AND...Not kidding....But....take two 100mg Viagra maybe 5 hours before. People with low blood pressure cannot take Viagra because it lowers your BP. And NO, it will not give you a you know what.

Your lucky. Just an FYI, drinking water raises your BP. The whole purpose of a diuretic BP med is to remove water from your blood stream. More water causes higher pressure.

I've heard that the more water you drink, the thinner your blood is, which puts less pressure on your arteries. What do I know though, I'm not a doctor lol.

You would think but it's the opposite. Your blood vessels are only so big so adding water to the blood causes more pressure. That's usually the first medication that's given to someone who has blood pressure. It's called diuretic and it's meant to get rid of the water in your blood stream. Drawback is your peeing a lot.

I asked my wife about this, she's a dietician. She said the worrying about it, and thinking about it at this level, will probably raise your BP more than anything else.
