How did it go today? How do you like your trainer?

As far as I know it is still $50 a day while you are out with your trainer. Home time can be taken as 2 days off for every 2 weeks ....3 days off for 3 weeks. You can not take any more than 4 days off in any one month.

Here me out! I drove 9.15 mins. Today... My coach got us from the hotel in Rockwall to i20 in Lindale texas where I took over until we got just past mobile Alabama. Maybe 30-40 miles before Pensacola fl. My coach stayed up for about the 1st hour to see how I drove and then went to sleep... He slept pretty much 90% of the time. He started driving about 10:30pm and stoped about 1:30 I belive we are at exit or mile marker 96 hwy 81 and he's sound asleep. I can't sleep because of his loud snoring. And the way he sleeps I'm concerned for my safety... Am I over reacting? I just have this feeling once my 10 is up he's gonna throw me back in the driver seat. Without proper rest... Where hes gonna spend the rest of his 8 sleeping because he did a split...

Stopped in London Ohio last night after a 591 day. Thought I might lose this load to a swap because of the trailer being in the shop on Thursday, but another 591 day today puts me on the porch to make my delivery Sunday morning on time. Then, on to the Apple for my Monday delivery in Hunts Point Market. Johnboy, expect a call from me. Jaso's given me a few pointers, but your point of view will be a huge help. Glad TransAm kept me away from it this long. Will probably stop at the TA on the thruway near Johnstown. Laundry has to wait one more day. Went to bed early last night. Some anniversary, huh Jungho!

This is what we had on Hunts Point, George. I thought I remembered a gate fee there. Not too bad of a place considering where it is at. They are fairly driver friendly, overnight parking and also have take out menus available for the drivers. I think the King always ordered from some Chinese delivery service there ....good food and a fair price.

    Hunt's Point -

Have to pay a gate fee - $20
    Overnight Parking
From Panhandle Flash - Hunts Point is easy to get in to and out of, if you follow the signs. Roads are pretty wide, tho there are a few bad spots with other truckers trying to do.... something.

Hunts Point is a walk in the park much ado about nothing
i can think of 5-6 places in joisey much worse
the worst thing is going across the GWB and the narrow lanes
coming off the bridge on the NY side
once your own the Cross Bronk just follow the signs
gate fee and chinese food are accurate
    with overnight parking

it is like no other place you have probably gone at 3 am your trying to unload
all these vans are pulling in to load up for the morning opening of their corner bodega or restaurant
and none of them care that they need your freight before they can leave
they will double triple park shoot in back of you while your backing
and curse you out in 25 different languages
so you need to be as aggressive as they are to get in or out

    HometimeQueen Thanks this.

George, I put directions on the Abilene thread for you. Call me Sunday evening and I'll give you some pointers. Busy today and tomorrow, but just call me and if no answer I'll call you back.

Travis do what you have to do. There are trainers that do exactly what your describing. Just insist on backing, doing paperwork and computer work. Remember it is only temporary. Sleep when you can. Good luck
