At the Albuquerque terminal, drop at the Walmart DC in Los Lunas Monday morning.
NOTHING on Mac 30 all day and of course nothing from the planners.
There are LOTS worse places to sit but I'd prefer to keep moving. -
When will you be in Gary, Lepton? I am baking a few batches of Caramel Illini Bars to drop off at the terminal tomorrow. I told them last week that if they got me a return load near to the terminal, that I would bake them something while at home.

Finally got a load after 19 hrs and relocated to Calhoun Ga, a little south of Chattanooga TN, to set my 10 for the first of two live loads. Second pick up is just east of Kansas City MO with the final drop in Omaha NE. No weight given. Very tight schedule, planner said to Mac22 after dispatch. Not enough info yet to do a mac22 that isn't a wild guess. Have to see what this first shipper is putting on me..a lot of mountains 'tween here and KC.
This will be the worst mileage week I've had in over a year and a half due to time lost waiting between loads and too much time to deliver. I talked to four other Swifties in Atlanta this morning who had no loads and they had been sitting longer than me. I slid out quietly when I got my ticket to ride. -
Wow.
I hear of all the sitting and slow areas and suddenly my current load doesn't sound as bad.
After a 230 mile dh to IL I picked up a load from Georgia Pacific in University Park headed to NE.
About 450 miles loaded.
I picked it up this afternoon but it doesn't deliver until 0015 (first stop at a Sam's) on the 27th. I didn't have enough extra time for 2 10's (by about an hour), so I'm sitting until tomorrow at around 1500 to start driving. I should be able to fit both stops in my 14, barely.
I'm trying to stay awake as long as possible tonight so I can do it.
What a fun day, though.
I get near my Walmart delivery this morning and still didn't have a delivery number. It took CSR nearly 2 hours to get it to me.
Then there were no mt's at Walmart. Every Swift trailer was filled with pallets.
As I waited (another hour) for a planner to find me an mt, a yard dog that noticed me searching honked to me as he was pulling out an mt. He dropped it in the aisle for me.
I had an hour left on my 14 when I picked up this load at around 1600, and the nearby Petro and Pilot were both nearly full already when I got there at 1700. Luckily I found a spot. -
Hello from Lancaster! I just dropped off a load from Fontana and oddly enough it's not due till Tuesday...in the morning I'll see if there is a load out of here, if not, I'll sit. 😜

What planner is that?
-
This is true. Unless you're on the "wet"/central side. Then some of the planners also use the old central way of not planning trucks. Which is a pta of 1805. So stay away from 1805 and 2357 pta.Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Broke off of my route in Dallas to go get cheap fuel at the Loves in Hutchins, now at Lancaster after getting a double double from Whataburger. zzzzzzzzz

Ready to hit the road off home time, they had me a pp before I even got home with a live load then drop at final in valdosta. Called dm to see if a time had been given for live load since it had no appt in the time slot. Still no appt time set. Waiting to see what they want me to do, don't want to start my clock till I know. Dm said if they don't get me a time soon well get me another load, ugh.
But got on the website to see what my ranked miles and such were and found out I hit platinum status this week. Went on qcom to try mac30 to see if it still said not eligible, it works for me Now, yay i think lol.Last edited: Jan 26, 2015
