First trainer I had never closed the curtains...you were always welcome to get in your bunk...but you better be prepared to see a 300lb dude in tighty whiteys eating beans out of can...or peeing in his "urinal" which was a milk jug cut in half.
Next trainer was crazy but treated you like you were a guest at his house.bottomdumpin Thanks this. -
Driver, you live in the truck with that trainer 'til it's over. Have a conversation with him, and if he doesn't get the picture, do what crzyjarmans says. Get a new trainer. Don't put up with any garbage. You also can have a nice chat with HR if the trainer is doing the job for you otherwise.

Very often there are lights in the truck stop that shine right into the berth. Curtains closed is not out of the norm.
If he/she is doing something private, the movement of the cab when you climbed up the steps would allert.

OP,
So how do you sleep if you don't go in the sleeper berth? -
I would just ask. It is not like he does not expect your return, and I never liked hanging out in my sleeper with the curtains open.

If you hear whacking noises it ain't the mud flaps blowing in the breeze. LOL

"Yo! Knock-knock."
If you want to go to bed, he should let you do that. How can you expect to be properly rested in order to perform your job if you're forced to sit around fast food restaurants and kill time? Besides, if he's out with you, he can't have hooker time until you're off the truck. He's acting as a trainer. He can keep his pee-pee in his shorts until you test out.White_Knuckle_Newbie and Mudguppy Thank this. -
That's just nasty lmao
