Detention pay, what a novel concept! Getting paid for the time I'm losing sitting here in the door. Hoping I don't rack up too much of it because as soon as these idiot get their junk off my trailer I can go home. Decided to set my PTA for Wednesday morning since I won't be home til tomorrow morning. I want to make sure I have time to get everything I need and still spend a bit of quality time with my favorite boys.

 

Because Pete doesn't play favorites and I figured it was either my turn to be hit with the 2x4 or yours

Well......I wasn't going to say anything.....

 

Had to sample the NY chinese cuisine so got an order of pineapple chicken. Ate 1/4 of it, ok maybe a 1/3 and put in the fridge. My only remaining dish (spaghetti) is frozen like a hockey puck. Rose at 447 am, got dressed and drove to my receiver to check in. I tell him I got meat he says whaddya got, so I give him the BOL, he has me write my cell number down. He says go back to the staging area. This place is a zoo at 0515. Moved back along the fence next to the staging area. Hopefully I don't get chased. I know I am in NYC. If I survive this, I can survive anything.

 

Checked in two hours ago and still waiting for a door and........the flakes are starting to fall. Should have greased somebody's palm.
