Bout sums it up, thanks. Just gonna get in and go through orientation and see where the highway leads. If it's not for me I'll peruse other opportunities down the line. Gonna give Schneider a fair shake regardless, just how I was brought up. Again thanks a lot yall.

Haha it's not a live aereal view - more like the satellite view on google maps. Basically they can see on a map where you are.

No biggie. Seabass wrote 'actual arial view of your vehicle', but if this is what he meant- meh.

Yes, it is really an arial view. My DBL sat me down at his work station and demonstrated this for me.

Umm, so Schneider has a dedicated satellite following me? What? They can look at Google Earth, just like we do to see how a customer's docks and facilities look before we get there. It's NOT live!

    stevep1977 Thanks this.

Not easily convinced are you. That's fine.

The DBL pulled up a satellite view of where I was parked at the Operating Center. Then randomly choose another truck who was parked at a Pilot fuel island. Live view. Slightly different than Google earth. This is not a top secret or anything at Schneider. They make drivers aware of this in orientation.

I've seen it, it puts a blue circle/mark on the map where your tractor is located. It's not a live satellite feed. Black helicopters take the aerial shots too.

To be clear I am referring to Schneider National from Green bay. Their trucks are generally orange in color.
The operations people most certainly have the ability to veiw their trucks from a satellite aerial perspective. Or bird's-eye view of the top of the vehicle. Not a dot on a map.

    Happy trails...
