Even those gifted with the Power Cosmic have to sleep sometime! Ain't no thread jacking going on here, just a little cross talk while I sleep, no problem whatsoever.

I would ask that we don't turn this into a Gordon (or anyone) bashing session; I know it's tempting but I meant it when I said I wouldn't be bad mouthing anybody here. I just really really hate negativity and I've found that my general outlook has vastly improved since I stated focusing on the good and when a relationship (professional or personal) starts going south on me, I try to work it out and if that proves impossible or too costly, it's time to simply move on.

Woke up in the middle of the night for a visit to the toilet, sat down, then fell asleep. Woke up and my legs were numb. Staggered/crawled back to bed. Pins and needles now while the feeling comes back. Aaaargh.

Day two of getting orientated. Logging class (woo woo woo). Now that my legs are working again it's time to get breakfast and scram. Need to give my keys to maintenance so they can fix my headlight since I took them with me last night (wasn't thinking).

Scrambled eggs and sausage, here I come...(and a bagel with cream cheese and coffee).

VNL670 with D13 power and Volvo iShift 12 speed. Intebrake. Don't know rear end ratio right now, need to speak with shop about that. It has dual drive axles with inter diff lock as well as traction control. Brakes looked fine. Body is straight and clean except for a small scratch on the drivers side front fender (paint abrasion only -- no body damage). The transmission is the fully optioned version (power, economy modes with eco roll enabled). Nice mattress. No apu and idle cut out is enabled but it has a Webasto bunk heater. Truck was not smoked in (bonus). Integrated Bluetooth. Actual useable hanging closet.

No refrigerator compartment--hmmmmm. Gonna have to figure something out.

Fender mirrors are huge. Forgot how big the sun visors are on these Volvos. Also no windshield curtain, and no cover for the sunroof. Windshield curtain is a cheap fix, but gonna have to improvise to plug the light leak at the sun roof.

Hyromanumiousity is a perfectly slombangifluous word.

Zoomy misspelled hydromanumousity, refers to mankind being 98% water. A noun. Like you're dehydrated, your hydromanumousity's down.

Or your hydromanumousity's up, you're bloated.

Have to watch the pH of your hydromanumousity, too.

    A little alkaline's better.

I checked; idle cutout can be overridden (been plenty of places where you can't override it). Truck going to ##### for a new headlight assembly. About halfway through log class. Signing contracts later.

Penske not #####. Left it because it's funny. My phone's Autocorrect is a bigger perv than I am.

Am learning that their CSA score is a little skewed because they are in the same category as much larger carriers and it takes just a few incidents to shove their score way up on account of percentages (20 incidents when you have 180 trucks versus 20 incidents when you have 7500). They've adopted a zero tolerance stance on HOS and safe driving violations and the safety guy says he's fired or suspended more people since December than in the last several years combined. It's a few people (the AQ) wrecking it for everybody else and they're working on reducing that factor quite aggressively.

    To go back to class.
