good news about the surgery. Not so good about the form. If you're coming up 95 through South Jersey give me a shout.

 

Will call and ask if they charge... my truck stop guide here says they do...

 

Don't quote me on this but I believe the TA's in CT do not charge on the weekends. At least the one in Milldale doesn't

 

Oak grove 70/Petro. Clean run up from Tucumcari. NM. Different than my normal route. Trying the Flats of Kansas rather than the Missouri Hills.

No tolls. Less hills so less fuel burn. Going to take about 30 Minutes longer total. Going to not get the cheap fuel in OKC though....... Fuel price difference no longer pays the tolls since I only have 200 Gallons on this truck.

Company annoyed me complaining about me getting there Fri Eve. Let them know it could be Saturday Morning if they do not like Friday eve.

Drove through Plains. KS. Pretty un-remarkable except my pops was born there. Glad his family fled to Cali during WWII.

 

Sooooooooooo...get up at 1:30 am to roll at 2:20am so I can make shipper in Fresno by 3am......notice all the am stuff....ugggh. Get here and am told I'm not getting loaded till tomorrow at a different facility...least its still in Fresno. Will give the shipper credit though, very understanding and letting me rest on their yard till parking opens up here in the land of 55 mph. All night dispatch can say is ...uhh need to talk to your DM, this crap happens about every 3rd or 4th load with this company getting real sick of it.

 

We all know crap happens out here...but that's pretty frustrating.

 

after spending 5 days in Lodi and Ripon TS i can tell you freight is slow enough the TS's were 90% full all day
you get down south a ll to Madera and Tulare not as big a problem
