Tractor with one license plate?

NJ was the only state that gave out 2 tags that I know of? but that was before IRP tags, the IRP tags that are run today only one tag is on each truck.

Where is the truck registered out of, NY?

Its usually only 1 plate on tractors, you have one on the front of the tractor and one on the rear of the trailer. Know some states that require 2 plates usually only issue 2 if the CMV is a strait truck that doesnt tow trailers

NJ is part of the IRP or internationa registration plan for CMVs traveling in more than 1 jurisdiction, so you should be fine.

They finally discovered that some unscrupulous individuals were putting one tag on one truck and the second tag on another truck.

So bobtail and going to Canada ok?

One plate is all you get in Wisconsin. You should be good to go.

I would imagine so, what else you gonna do? If your state has only one plate.
