Just a thought guys and gals, we have snow/rain/slush now here at NE, roads were salted yesterday, but I would assume that salt may be washing away now. We expect temperature drop later today, so just keep that in mind, especially on bridges, areas with flat windy landscapes, curves. And especially new drivers. You probably saw that Estes double jumping rail on youtube, be safe.

My boss already called me, work is cancelled for tonight. So I am good, well not really, I had just minutes ago come in from shoveling more crap out there. Going to have to go back out again later tonight to scrape off the windows before it freezes, and clean up the area again.

We got hit pretty good here in NE Illinois Sat night through yesterday. The roads aren't too bad right now. The sun's out and it's warming up. Hate too see it later tonight though. Now, down I-80 to eastern PA. Stay safe everyone that's gotta run the northeast!!

Here in Sioux City we received snow Saturday and it was too cold to get out there yesterday so I was going to return an application this morning and snow is up to the bumper all around the car and the driveway from the wind.So my neighbor is going to plow me out when he gets home from work.I didn't think it would be that bad.

I'm at TA south of Providence, RI... Doesn't look very nice out there...:biggrin_25512:

    This was earlier this morning...

But now it's much worse as it is snowing more.... on top of the already snow covered roads... Earlier today folks on the radio were saying drivers were going at 35 mph...
I am not going anywhere today... and shall see tomorrow... Not moving this truck till conditions get better... Have all that I need in the truck... It's warm and cozy in here... Cooked some meal yesterday and will cook some more today... :yes2557:
You all stay warm and safe... :biggrin_25519:

I drive a heating oil truck for a small Co. of 3 trucks. Boss texted me last night before snow started and said we were not going out today.

When I got up we had a few inches of snow down then sleet most of the day and for the last hour snowing pretty good. We may not be going out till Wednesday the way it looks now!

Bad thing is I don’t get paid if I am not out, people don’t shovel to the oil fills and even worst I still have to shovel snow at my house & 4x4 out!
    Everyone be safe out there.

This is one of the few reasons why I had new heating systems installed. I went from oil to gas. No need to wait for the oil truck, have heat all the time, have gas all the time. And the price of gas is WAAAAY cheaper than oil.
