I find my 30' tow strap sometimes is way too long, especially when getting pulled out onto a road which isn't too wide, or with a narrow approach. So i made myself a sort of snatch block for the tow strap. I have just used a shackle before, but they are brutally hard on the strap. I am confident this is going to work way better. The roller is for a boat trailer, easy to find and, the pins are 11/8" steel rod, and the sides are 3-3/16x3" wide flat iron spotted together. (Could have used a solid piece, but didn't have any). Pretty easy to make, and a lot easier on my tow strap.
