I'm trying to decide whether to hate passport, or to be glad that he is not only some place warm, but very pretty. Hmmmmmm, wonder if his wife has a sister?? lol

It's been a long time and I can't remember how everything worked when the King first took his home time, so Pete may be right .....the computer may only allow you to take two days for right now. Another possibility is the timing, it will be Valentines Day and there may already be too many drivers taking time off. That is the standard computer-generated message any time that it is turning down your request.....so always change your days by 24 hours and try it again. Try for 2/11 or 2/13 and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't contact your DM first thing and ask when the first available days are so that you can put in for that time slot.truckertravis84 and passport220 Thank this. -
Gee, passport, I have really been missing you .....and then you had to post those pictures .....and there is snow on the ground in Missouri....and we all know how much I love the snow ...NOT!

Does anyone have info on the pricing of the truck wash in wildwood? And info on saddle creek Corp Leesburg fl.? I'm picking up from there at 10am but need to get this trailer wash that they had me pick up today. I'm parked for the night at the zellwood truck stop. Thanks

Today at school we had a see side test. The guy in front of me completely screwed up. So he pulled out of the box and did his setup then he decided to just get out of the truck and fail that test and left the truck there. Then my instructor said it was my turn and said its looks like a decent setup just back it in. I was not ok with that at first. Becaue why did all the other guys get to pull from the box and set there self up and not me? But what did i DO? I decided to go along with it. Did my walk around and backed it right in perfectly with no pull ups.
So as I was backing it straight in I wanted to check my distance in back so I don't brake plain. So I pull the brakes and get out the truck. My instructor says to me test is done! I said no i'm checking my distance. He says "You need to tell me before you get out the truck your checking your distance" (I was never told this and no done this yet also) We went back and forth about it for few seconds he said just finished I got all angry at this point and did't even realize how close I was from breaking plain so WHAT DO I DO? BREAK PLAIN!!! and get a 60!!
Yea I know I screwed up but man I don't think it was fair test. I never got to setup my own truck and should have said nothing to me tell I finished my test. If everyone else got to pull from the box set there selfs up and what not why could't I? I was so angry lolpassport220 Thanks this. -
Travis, I can't find the notebook I kept when I was with TransAm so don't have the price for a washout in Wildwood, but their number is 352-748-2337. Call them in the morning, send in your po request for a washout and you shoukd have it by the time you need to be able to write a check. That is a big time saving tip. If you know where you plan to get a washout, call ahead to verify price and request your PO, even if you're not gonna be there for 4 or 5 hours. That way you're not washout and holding up the line and wasting your time.

Well today has sucked for the most part. Had a payroll error that was very quickly taken care of. $1500 in the bank on a 2400 mile week. TransAm can't touch that!
But the crappiest part of the day was being involved in an accident. I was heading north on 55 and saw a Penske truck and a GMC Sierra towing a car trailer loaded with household goods coming down the on ramp. I moved into the left lane to give them room to get on the interstate and so I didn't have to change my speed. They settled into a speed and I ultimately moved back to the right as the Penske truck was outline away and the Sierra was still a safe distance behind me. A mile or two uo the road the Penske truck starts slowing down and I'm getting close enough I make the decision to pass him. The Sierra was dogging off my tail but slowly started to pass and I threw on my left blinker indicating to anyone behind me I woukd be moving into the left lane when it was clear. Yeah. Well. The bimbo driving the Sierra gets most of the way past me and decides that my left blinker meant I was signaling her to come back over so she did just that. Except her trailer wasn't even close to being past me. At all. I started braking and laying on the air horn but the idiot keeps coming over and BAM! Hit me solidly in the nose with her trailer. I maintained control and followed them off the next exit where we contacted the local authorities and did an exchange of information. I wasn't cited for anything and it's just an insurance fiasco. My bumper was torn part way off and needs to be replaced. My wheel seal was shattered and needs to be replaced. Repairs are being done to get me moving again. My bumper will be replaced when I get to a yard. My DM is trying to get me to the East Dubuque yard instead of Denton because my current load finals in Cedar Falls only 88 miles from EDub. I could final this possibly tomorrow, head to EDub for a new bumper and still be able to get a load home from Farmland right next door or Belvidere.
But another neat thing today is they finally released our mobile app so we can read messages, get load info, track what loads are paid or pending and scan paperwork and stuff.passport220 Thanks this.
