Well had to have the TSC load pulled I'll never make the pick up or deliveries. There's a loss of 546.66 for my drive home friday.
I'm still sitting waiting for a dang empty this is beyond ridiculous.

There are a lot of "should" things in driving, but if we as contractors lose a load because SNI doesn't have an MT for us, they "should" compensate us. What that compensations "should" be is negotiable, but it "should" be at least 50% of the revenue lost due to no MT being available. It's not our fault that MT management needs improvement, but if they pay enough out in lost load compensation, maybe they will find it more profitable to manage the MTs better. Hmm,, lot's of "should" stuff there.
mickimause, TennMan and drvrtech77 Thank this. -

Either way is a crap shoot. 5 Years ago I brought a 2006 9400 C13 auto, with 450k for 23k . I paid an additional $2000 for a warranty. My payments were $767 a month for 42 months. I had to pay for 3 months upfront, sort of like a down payment. So I financed for 39 months,I told the guy I did not want to pay over $1000 a month. So, we decided on 42 months. My first year was the worst, truck nickel and dime me. I had no major break downs, I only been towed once for $150. This website has helped me out a lot. I have no mechanical background at all. I do know how to check my fluids, change bulbs, wipers, fuses, fuel filter. Anything else I would take it to the shop.
Sometimes I think about a new truck. I would love to have a Volvo, without the big truck payments. Maybe after I retire from the military, I would consider a new truck. -
I'm thinking of their Volvos 14k down and 2550 for 60 months then it's yours. Brand new too.

Ask Schneider why they stopped leasing out Volvos...
They told me it's the worst brand of truck they've ever leased out, they break down far more than other brands. costs lots to repair that is when you can find a place to repair it so they said.
Of course they actually pushed me more to lease a Freightshaker than my KW probably because they get a huge discount on them but lease it to you off retail value. -
yeah but into year 4 and 5 you'll be out of warranty but still with that $2500 payment. Double whammy!
As for me I'd either want something brand new or an old cheap beater and just drive it till it blows.
I considered an old cheap truck for a bit but felt it wasn't worth the risk of getting a lemon. Dunno about you guys but most my life is in a truck, money isn't everything.. gotta factor in comfort and peace of mind also.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
yeah out this load ST112994023
