Wished I could find that other thread.

I don't know if there were any points. At the time it was too old for points on the company csa.

The monetary fine is not the problem or the CSA points,,it is having to look at naked pictures of Nancy Polosi ,

Awhile back I hurt my shoulder and worked at the terminal while on Transitional Duty until my DR released me to go back to driving a truck.. I was helping out in the Safety Office when two drivers came in regarding their CSA scores and weight tickets they both had gotten.. their issue was that the was only about a 45 to 50lbs difference in their tickets yet a big difference in the CSA points they each recieved... the one with only 3 months experience now now had a higher CSA score then the other driver who got his ticket 8 days later, but had just over 18 months experience..

The Safety guy explained to them that the CSA points are higher for the driver with only 3 months because although both had the pretty much the same infraction.. ticketed for over weight.. one driver had only 3 months with an infraction, while the other driver had 18 months with only one infraction..

As I said I was helping out in the safety office and in ear shot of the conversation.. I did not take notes.. but I did make a mental note about it... what I understood was that a drivers CSA Ranking is base on CSA points spread over their time of driving.. because CSA points fall off as time goes by..

I do believe that an over weight ticket does generate CSA points.. I also know a few drivers who have gotten over weight tickets and complained about the CSA points they got...

Overweight points(and insecure loads)went away in august 2010 when they eliminated the cargo basic score.

Pretty funny that someone would think that you get less points the more experience you have.
