Back in Pasig, Philippines. Got to hear those bus Jakes all the way down the mountain. The city we just left instituted a no smoking ban a little while back and they are serious. Not even in any of the open air parks can you smoke and in all of the hotels that I checked not one has smoking rooms. Now relax here for 2 weeks.

I did not think the Philippines would have bans like that, thought it was just silly America with those useless bans, the smog in the air is worse than someone smoking 100 feet from you.

 

Still at the phx terminal. Got a plan with trlr # to head to Orlando. Jumped at it. It gets me rolling. Tried to get dispatched. No can do, load hasn't Tcalled yet. Won't be here til tomorrow. I don't care, after being here since Thursday, I'll go anywhere. Load should be here in the AM.

 

At the loves just East of Reno. Dropped he and snagged a load heading to Casper Wyoming. Trying to work my way back to east Coast for home time Friday. Now on the way have to find something for the wife for valentines day lol.

jv terminal. went and got my pv smogged yesterday. havent smogged a vehicle in about 20 yrs. always bought new trucks and got rid of them within 5 yrs. then this morning took all my saltwater reels to tackle shop in chatsworth to get cleaned and oiled before my 7 day trip in june. visited my freinds and got back here. took a nap ang another driver woke me up by scraping my right mirror with his trailer while backing into spot next to me. had the fun time of spending 30 minutes reporting it. tried to rub it out but scratches to deep on the paint.

 

I hate smogging, my wifes car I think will need it next year since its a 2010, my car is a 2006 so it gets smogged but last year it smogged nice and clean even with over 200k miles on it, its been a good running car for me and I only park it at the DC and drive it once a week so not in a hurry to buy another right now.

 

It is just this one city. If you are caught smoking in the park, one of many, the police will escort you off the property. The air where we were is very clean. They are serious about it
