I have an 09 Cascadia. I get 9+ on light loads all the time. There is a reason Pete's can't get Cali certified.
9MPG, is that possible?

I have a feeling the best fuel mileage drivers with autos were still the best when they had manuals. -
55mpg, 6x2, light load, bold tires, and 60mph wind blowng in your back...

I'm in the 8mpg range with a stepdeck. I'm a member of a group called the 9+MPG club on Facebook there's several drivers that achieved 10mpg it's hard work but very possible, everyone uses the Fuel Gauges site for fuel tracking
Some mods to start with are
Scangauge
0W40 or 5W40 synthetic oil
FASS
Fleet-Air Filter
Super Singles
Microblue
Converting to 6X2

Our Cascadia Evolution was getting 8.5 mpg on a regular basis. Average loads were 5k to 12k lbs.
