9MPG, is that possible?

    My average weight is 25-30k with some oversized, average speed is 50-55

    Prices has started to slowly increased once again, so good fuel mileage will be needed.

    I get 9 with my eyes close. Its the driver mostly not the truck. The auto shifts are supposed to get 14

    Currently I'm getting 8.2 mpg with 79 in the ice box. Heading to Colorado springs. It really depends on the weight of your load, the terrain, etc. These people who try make one science of it, have no idea.

    Is that tank to tank taking the hub miles traveled and dividing by gallons added it's the only accurate way to track your mpg the ECM is always off

    I get 5 in a long hood pete jerking a box with 44-49 in the wagon...but you know what I also get??? Laid....God I'm a #######.....

    You gotta be lightweight to get that kinda mpg. Everything gotta come to play. Light loads, aerodynamics, not speeding, yada yada

    There's a lot more to it than just that but for me and many others willing to build a airdam/splitter, purchase materials to smooth out the undercarriage of the trailer reduce as much drag as possible. If you're serious about it you can really achieve it my goal is 10mpg with my stepdeck it might not be possible but it's the direction I'm interested in taking my company
