all I can picture is two cops standing talking. They get a whiff of cigarette smoke. They just abruptly stop talking and start sniffing. Walking around sniffing. Getting closer and closer to the smell. Until they sniff out the culprits like dogs. I've been known to have an exaggerating imagination though....

Really???? And just how did you get in that situation? -
I completely behaved while there. Was not going to get into a situation.
inkeper Thanks this. -
Was asked if I would double stack and sleep out tomorrow or if I wanted to go home, i told him I would help out so I have a pretty solid day with an Atwater then a Gilroy, its over 700 miles so I will be sleeping out somewhere then go home Tuesday afternoon instead of tomorrow night, will end my week around the 3k mark which is pretty dang good this time of the year at the dc.

Ozona Tx. At a mom and pop TS off exit 372. About an hour west of here a hazmat tanker fell asleep (5:30 PM local) and wrecked into a guardrail, no spill, just a trashed guardrail. Traffic was stopped, and the DPS pulled his ticket book as soon as he arrived. Once they let traffic go, I headed here for the night.

Rest area on US-97 about halfway from Klamath Falls to Bend. Should be a nice, quiet night. I got back to the truck in Lathrop last night and got up early to check out the possibilities of having them drain the windshield wiper fluid and replace it, since the last driver used a spare windshield washer fluid jug for radiator coolant (my trainee didn't know the difference).
Three days to get into the shop.
Fuggedaboutit.
Decided instead to not send a Mac-25 and run solo to get the heck out of here and get some miles. Got a preplan deadheading up to just north of Klamath Falls to get a load with three stops in the Salt Lake City area. Accepted it and decided it call it a bit early day today. Have nothing to do but run tomorrow, first delivery is the day after tomorrow.
Weather is mild for this time of year, so the run up to Bend then east on US-20 to I-84 should be good. -
perris ca. had one of those fubar days. got here behind mcd's dirt lot with one minute on the 14 line. my second pickup was a pain. got there the 1st time and they first said it was picked up on friday. they read my number wrong lol. then they said my appt was 1100. i said its 1015 rite now. so not that early lol. then it was couldnt find all the product, so they said swift was sending another driver later to pick it up.called my dm and some lady picked it up(dm was off i guess)and told her what they said. she put me on hold for 15 min and came back and said to go ahead and leave. so got to ross only to get message saying i need to go back because i forgot the product. i replied saying you guys told me to leave. oh well. got it done anyways.
