Broke down in Clearfield, Pa. Problem started this morning in Van Wert, when I woke up and found I had lost the prime. Got trk started, ran to Beaverdam for food, and when I got there and popped the hood, noticed air bubbles in secondary fuel filter. *sighs* Made it to Clearfiled, got fueled and parked. My company carries spare parts, so changed the filter. It got worse. Hopefully, that part might be fixed but, and lot of junk was found in the bottom of the filter bowl, including metal shavings. Sapps thinks the fuel pump may be tearing itself up so, trk going into a real shop in the morning. Never liked the idea of losing a load but..... who in their right mind, wants to go to NYC, Danbury, AND Boston, with this weather coming in??? lol

I feel for ya! Who wants to go up there period! Too much traffic. Sucks when you have to give up any miles, though.

A blonde and a redhead have a ranch. They have just lost their bull. The women need to buy another, but only have $500. The redhead tells the blonde, "I will go to the market and see if I can find one for under that amount. If I can, I will send you a telegram."
She goes to the market and finds one for $499. Having only one dollar left, she goes to the telegraph office and finds out that it costs one dollar per word. She is stumped on how to tell the blonde to bring the truck and trailer. Finally, she tells the telegraph operator to send the word "comfortable."
Skeptical, the operator asks, "How will she know to come with the trailer from just that word?" The redhead replies, "She's a blonde so she reads slow: 'Come for ta bull.'"

Ok whose fault is it? I get to my destination nearly 90 minutes early after sitting all day with this load atParker Hannifin in sleepy Gothenburg Nebraska. It is Sunday night 730pm (9pm appointment) and there are no signs of life, no cars at this place. I text dispatch and she tells me this place shuts down over the weekend and opens at 0700 on Monday. I am parked on the street in front of the building taking my ten. 1500 mile trip got stretched out. OFW!
