jabber how bout u grow a pair and tell them what you need and how its gonna be , im guessin your still in ny , every single day they got loads loading out of ny headed to florida thats a fact
-
and if I say "its my way or i'm gone" they will meet me at the fuel island with their hands open ready to give my keys to somebody else,
if I throw a fit i'm being immature and childish.77smartin Thanks this. -
Funny last time i worked there (last fall) I would call Angel Jr tell him what i needed no arguing needed. Lets say you load in Carlisle heading for Dacula. The next morning early as possible call him get lined up on something going to Fl. You might need to go to Uniontown first then Fl but you HAVE TO CALL THE DISPATCHER IN THE AREA YOU GOING TO WAY BEFORE YOU GET THERE. Even when I was in Clovis I would tell them what I needed to do and they would give me options on what I wanted to do. IRT isn't like a regular freight company most drivers are used to John Tells the dispatchers to book every load period then figure out how to haul it. So if you need to get to Florida YOU need to make it work not them. It's not that they don't want to get you home but they are under a lot pressure from above to get the loads moved.

Oh jabber not to pick a fight but i see you have only been driving for 2 yrs so you must have went to one of those so called driving schools. IRT is from the old days you need to have thick skin to work there. It's not like working at swift, werner, prime, or any other mega. It was built on, here's the load get it done, pretty much still that way today. Oh by the way my last couple of weeks there I did Fl to jersey to ny and back to fl.

Type the problem out on the Qualcomm and send it so you have proof you notified them. After that, keep running and making money. If it lays down and you're waiting on a tow truck at that point you've done all you can do and it's their problem. If not getting it fixed now leads to a more expensive problem later it's their own fault. If it becomes an issue with you possibly getting a ticket when/if you're inspected, refuse to go anywhere except a shop. If it needs serviced and you've told them, it's out of your hands. Drive it till it lays down then call them and tell them you need towed. Just my 2 cents. Focus on keeping your paychecks as high as you can, just like they're focusing on making as much money as they can. If the vents won't stop blowing put duct tape over them and truck on.

now I don't think my AC is working either. but I don't know for sure
I shouldn't let it bother me since I am on my way to Florida and its February. but maybe i'm just weaker since the last time I drove a truck without an AC (which is possible) -
Shhhhhh......... AC don't blow I don't go! 2015 not 1915!
