    Told dispatch I'm short on my 70 so they're getting delivery appointment set for tomorrow so I can get a 34 (I'm less than 2 miles from receiver). At Wal-Mart getting meds for The Hot Chick and a few supplies. Gonna hang out at Flying J and start out in the morning with a full boat of hours. I got just a tick under 2500 miles last week in 5 days (started late Monday and last load carried over). So far things are looking pretty good. Probably won't get rich, but who is these days? So far I'm making enough; only time will tell if it's consistently like this.

    About ego on stage, fraud in real life, self-involvement... internal/external struggle. 'Refining the truth, raw and real as possible'...(Keaton)

    Keaton--Movie was "one indignanty after another." Walks across Times Square in underwear. Wore a wig, fake gun in hand, black socks.

    Nominated for Oscar, Best Actor in this role.

    Wal-Mart run complete, lunch achieved. Bought a plug in type inverter. The Hot Chick is working on her novel. Put a glad hand lock on the trailer, going to the movies in about an hour. Enjoying the break today. Hitting it hard starting tomorrow.

    Reckon I'm not hitting it quite so hard as I thought. 200 miler to Elwood IL, broker load. Didn't squawk because I'm pretty sure it was to set me up for a real run out of Chicago area. If the next run is a short one they will get an earful. Benefit of the doubt for now....

    Every single trailer I've picked up so far has been missing the registration. I'm going to start getting the registration faxed to me before pickup just to save time....

    This is something I call the SEP factor, goes with the AQ. Somebody Else's Problem. The AQ sees something and figures since it doesn't affect them directly there is no reason to fix the problem ("Well, it isn't me" or "Not my job").

    Trucking is an occupation/environment that had a high tolerance for this kind of narcissism.
