That sucks, George, and I would be hopping mad too! Those are the things with TransAm that there is no excuse or explanation for. If they knew that the receiver wasn't open for business on the weekends, why did they send you an appointment time of 9pm Sunday night!

Guess here's another lesson learned. With meat and produce any day of the week, any hour of the day or night goes. Dry van, normal people hours. Next time I will question a dry van Sunday load at 9pm. Gotta be like Elvis and have a suspicious mind. Oh, and good morning everyone. Its Monday. Grumble, grumble, grrr, grrr.

I'm hanging out in East Dubuque. Truck is in the body shop now and I might even be getting my driver side fender mirror too! They don't come standard on our trucks but can be put on by request. Truck still needs a thorough post-accident inspection and alignment check. I have a chiropractor appointment first thing in the morning. Avett absolutely lives it over here. She gets to go in all the buildings and see everyone.

Do you still have a headache, honeybadger?
-
Nope, no more headache! Just a back ache and a clingy border collie, LOL
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
How about getting him signed up for a map reading class first, then a class on how to use a GPS as I figure if he doesn't know how to read a map he will surely end up lost with a GPS and call you moreLast edited: Feb 9, 2015

Am in a motel now and will be here at least 2 days. Fuel pump is bad and needs replacing. Tanks have to be drained and sent out to be cleaned and various other parts will have to be replaced. Ah...... living the life of Riley. Lol
