With 3.36's and a 13 speed, you are going to stick to 6 axle freight right?
In which case, a 55t trailer is going to be extra weight for no gain. A 45 ton trailer will more than be enough and still have resale value. Read through some of my posts regards weight, as you will need a long well and a flip neck to haul max weight.
For 7 axe setups, the 55t will be perfect. for 6 axle setups, 45t will save some weight and still make money if it has a long well etc.
EDIT: Just saw it is a 4 axle trailer! I'd say......nope, unless you are going to get a jeep or trade the truck for a 4 axle.
Martin281ric Thanks this. -
I will add a drop axle forgot to mention that.. which will make it 7 axle set up..

I can tell you about the trailer, it's a 55 ton Talbert with a Fontaine style neck. It's a good trailer depending on what they want for it. If it seems to be solid I wouldn't be afraid of it.

2007 30k for it..

With the axle? If so I would say it's a decent buy, a Talbert of the same vintage is almost twice that much. It probably could use a paint job. But I would think it should be alright.

Yes as u see it ..30 k paint job is not a problem i have someone who can blast/paint under 5 k..
