Enough under-garments for at the very least 3 weeks, they will (or should) have laundry facilities there for you.
Enough clothing for 2-3 weeks.
One pair of work boots, I cannot say if steel toe is required, but if you have them bring them.
An extra pair of work shoes/boots, to allow one pair to dry out.
Some sort of rain coat?
Personal care items, like deodorant, soap, and "other lady required" stuff.
There may be more things to take, but like you say, you don't want to over pack either.
What ever you can stuff into a carry on bag or medium sized duffel bag, as YOU HAVE to lug that thing around. NO BELL HOP SERVICE!
Good luck, I wish you all the best on your new adventure! -
Thank you do much. I am do aimed.

Actually, bring all kinds of clothing for one week. There will be time to do laundry during the 3 -4 weeks PSD training. If you have good work boots, bring those. If you bring sneakers, you WILL regret it...they will get wet and very smelly. Socks...enough for 14 day. You may decide to change them at times twice per day. Again...theyll get very smelly. The aforemenioned personal and shower items, of course PLUS one pair of shower sandals. You do not want to shower anywhere out here without them; no matter how clean the showers may appear. That includes our yard showers.
I suggest a big pack of baby wipes, as well, for those days when a real shower is just not possible for whatever reason. Trust me about this...you will not get to shower every single day in most cases. A laundry bag, too. That's a must. Your clothing will get very smelly, as well, unless you change them every day.
Unless you have a total sweetheart as your Instructor, your bag or bags WILL be with you in your bunk. So pack appropriately. Skip bringing a computer...even a laptop. It'll only get in your way, and you probably not have time to use it, anyway. I brought mine, and I regret it. You just don't know how cumbersome and heavy they really are until you carry it in a bag...ya know? Lol
Basically, pack things you would for a working week away from home. I doubt you will need steel toe boots for PSD unless you're going flatbed (I assume).
Some entertainment would be good, too. This would be for those downtimes waiting to drop, be loaded, or waiting to be dispatched.
Most of all, bring patience. Yes, patience. It will be tested a lot, especially that very first week. -
Sounds great advice. Thank you

Ok question. Now prime can't take me till April. Driving record showed after my licences got suspended three years ago. I still have something on them stating until April I can't get more then 8 points on my licences. It is kinda like drivers. Licences probation I guess but not really. Any ways prime said to wait till April. Icalled Pam up and they didn't see a problem rite now but call in the morning after that look at driving record. What do you think??/ have you hurdles of this before?

I have had my license back ( over a car seat expired ticket. Bounced my licences into a suspended state. So three years nothing else on them no tickets but just showing the after suspended follow up rules. Until April. This year.
