Line was down the block yesterday afternoon took me two hours just to get to the guard shack to check in. Slim pickings in central OH right now so that probably was part of the problem.

i told the office gal not to book any of those unless it's an emergency. Place is a nightmare and there is zero cell phone coverage in Coshocton unless you have Verizon.

 

ABF does run sleepers. I seen them in Portland, OR...used to drive local around there and was in and out of that terminal all the time. Maybe just not in your area.

Theres a guy on this very here forum that drove team for OD. BlairandGretchen I think is his handle...maybe he can ask around. I used to work for them myself and know the sleeper teams make big bucks.

 

Luckily a lot of Electrolux raw materials ship out of central Ohio so we usually get a load home out of there.

 

Taking a shower and lunch break at the West Memphis J which apperently turns out to be a good idea as there is 4 mile back up at about the 265 due to an accident.

Camping at the Baytown TX TA for a spell. I had a few local deliveries and got that done. So now I need to behave like a working man and find something productive to do with this empty truck.

I went inside for a bath and a meal, the counter did not disappoint. What are the odds of sitting down to eat with not one, but two historical scholars? Covered everything from evolution to mules toting steam shovels up the Panama Canal. I was about to get them on a roll and bring up the secret underground government railroads, but decided I better not let them get too carried away.

The TA in New Braunfels, TX...been running a multidrop load with recap has been interesting...did a drop in San Antonio today..off to Austin in the morning then over to Houston on Friday.

 

TA in Prescott. Will stop at Loves in Katy tomorrow...have dinner with my ex and my girls, deliver in Sealy Friday and take off till Tuesday.
