Around '94 / '95 I used to park at two little spots (holes in the ground really) on a regular basis. One was the Wagon Wheel in VT off the 89. Very small and quiet. Food wasn't bad - depending on who was cooking. There wasn't room for too many of us in the diner anyway. The other was a little truck stop / RV / campground. Can't remember if it even had a name. Small take out grill. Old camp style wooden 1/2 stall showers. One fuel pump with a LOOOOOONG hose .... place was beside the river and the bridge on US 2 in Lancaster, NH. The river was the Connecticut River as I recall. I fished it a few times. The river was the border between VT and NH. There was a Chinese Food joint beside the dirt parking lot that was FANTASTIC ! That's when I was running WAY up North East.

I'm just curious if those places are still there and what they're like now ?

Those were the days ..... running US 2 and US 11 NY with just a little tiny bit of I-89 and I-81 thrown in to remember what the big road looked like. ......

Parked at a rest area on 35n in ohio between Jackson and Chillicothe. Expecting alittle snow tonight. Headed to Taylorville Il. For a Friday 7am delivery... 420 miles to go.
I usually run out my hrs each day if I can. I stopped after 7 hrs driving today and have 7 to go. Gonna see if it makes running recap hrs any easier.
Was nice coming through the mountians in Va and WV with only 21,000 in the box... im usually over 40,000......

Parked at the truck rest area on I 66 east bound in Front Royal, VA. Taking the back way into York, PA via US340, US15 and US30. Shaves 30 miles off the trip vs going up I81 and down I83 via Harrisburg.

One looked more like Norm. Could be a cousin or nephew. Maybe both.

I will be curious to know how you make out time wise taking this route. I'm familiar with part of it but not all of it and would like to know how much stop and go it is.
