Not getting much Distance

No the Sirio is longer and thicker. Whole antenna is about 77". Specs say 1965 mm. The Wilson's whip is 62"

 

Alright everyone. My favorite radio finally gave up on me. Need advice on replacement. It was a Uniden Grant LT. Turned up just a bit. Want a comparable one.

 

If it was me I would look into fixing that one, any idea what is wrong with it?........or you can give to me. I'll pay the shipping.

 

Which proves the old adage, "longer is better"! I'd like to try one of those, but it would be too tall on the roof of my pickup. My Wilson 1000 bangs on enough stuff as it is.

 

I think the finals went out. I've had it 16yrs. I had to replace the board about 9yrs ago due to the posts in tractor being reversed under the dash. Other than that it's been serviced every two years.
