Doesn't really save any time. Roughly the same transit time but it's a nice change of pace. Besides you avoid all the hotheads on 81 who start griping about trucks passing each other north of the Mason Dixon line.

Emptied out at RR Donnelly in York but my load from ProTrans (A.Duie Pyle) won't be ready until tomorrow. Cooling my heels up the road at the Rutters Farm Store at Exit 32 on I83. No truckstops in York that I know about and they wouldn't let me drop the trailer early so I had to find a place for truck and trailer. 4 parking spots here and 3 are now occupied.

Loves in Katy, TX....dropped this morning in Austin..what a joy at 8 am I tell ya. Got one more drop in southwest Houston tomorrow..then two pickups, one on the west side and one on the east side, get to see too much of Houston tomorrow. After that I point the nose towards Elkton, Maryland.

At Walmart in Taylorville, Illinois....7am appointment at MBM....

Was stuck at a stand still because of a couple of wrecks for 1 1/2 hrs on I70 west this morning at the Indiana/Ohio state line..... .... at least I had the hours to burn.... still had time to stop for a shower along the way.

It doesn't take much snow for that. Ohio does a decent job salting the roads. Indiana does not. Drivers are cruising right along then hit those bridges in Indiana and all hell breaks loose. I don't think they call out the salt trucks until they have a couple of wrecks.

Sitting at the Loves in Dayton.

Ohio was fine.... Then hit Indiana.....that's exactly what happened... A couple cars, couple SUVs, a U haul and a JBHunt all hit the bridge and became more acquainted.....

    the CB was plenty entertaining.....

I ran 65N out of Indy around 4 this morning up to N Chicago. Wasn't a problem at all. Had one rolled over truck in the median but that was all. It didn't even back up traffic. Didn't see any plows until around the 201mm. They had it cleared out pretty good from there.
