    That's ridiculous!
The only time you'll see $1 a mile is out of Florida or Denver.

I've been here since December and no load under $1.40 hooked to my truck besides the time making my way out of Florida. I only went there to see family.

my current load is from Cookville, TN to Lancaster, PA. Loaded miles pays $2.07.. I'll see around $1.90 all miles on it.
After that I'm picking up in Lancaster going to Tannersville which pays $4.74 but it's only 100 miles.
Weekend loads out of the Northeast are terrible! Saturday I'm doing two short loads. Looks to be about $130 all miles at $4.50 all miles.
The load itself is 23 miles paying $291 which I'm doing two of but I gotta deadhead there. I'll have more time in the day to do something if something good comes along. If not that's still a good day for barely doing nothing.
If you do the math I'm actually earning more doing only doing 130 miles vs doing 500 miles at $1.40 when you factor in fuel costs.

Must have been a CR England lease driver to make up that random BS about us

Mistake number 1: Listening to someone on the cb and taking it as gospel lol..Jokes aside, there are some loads that pay that, but most pay 1.50 plus and loads going to the northeast most of the time pay north of $2 or very close to it. I did see a load on the board today that paid .17 and was like, man those are gonna disappear fast if I don't make a move on it:biggrin_2559:

There are terrible loads on the board but that doesn't mean you have to take them.
The good ones go real fast but they do come up.
