if i'm not mistaking ..companies like Like JB hunt, SNI..cr england pride and gordon are doing the hair tests ..And i'm pretty sure the test is not a DOT requirement ..these companies are doing it for their own records ..only the urine tests will be reported to DOT.. I remember i did some research on this a while back and this is what i remember . .Try another company to start with and make sure they don't require the follicle test..
And always remember "drugs and trucks don't match" . Good luck ! -
Try to talk to the safety guy at Pride and explain the situation. They can't ruin your career because you had a health issue 10 months ago requiring you to take meds. Maybe they can't hire you, fine. Tell them to clear your name or you'll file a dispute for slander.
-
Im telling you, had a buddy go thru this get a doctors note. Let them get results, give them the note and if they have half a brain theyll hire y ou, if they dont then your better off not working for them in first place.
Arkansas Thanks this. -
Like others said hair test shouldn't get reported. Any company you walk in the door will send you for their own pre-hire test ( hopefully just urine ) so I don't understand why the second company is requesting your results from the first.
-
Ok guys thanks. Yea like I said I don't do drugs. I would never do anything to screw up my cdl that I just got. The hair test was for pre employment but watkins and Shepard needs to request my drug test results from pride transport. I already talked to safety at pride transport as they already know I used to take medication.

Yea just don't mention anything to watkins about Hair tests man . They're only gona want the URINE ..Relax lol

Citalopram should NOT cause a positive on a drug test. Yes, it is a scheduled 1 drug. That only means you need a prescription to get it. It is not a narcotic.
So if what you are saying is right, you could be the victim of a "false positive." Easiest way to disprove it? Get a lab to do you hair test again. You still have the same hair on your body that you had when the first test was taken, right? -
Yes I do. I don't know what else it could be as I don't do drugs. I have no reason to lie
-
dale! You are repeating yourself! Are you on DRUGS or something? (JUST KIDDING, honest!)
As I said, it could be a "false positive." They are rare, but they do happen.
Wait a minute here! Now I'm repeating myself. Am I on drugs? Well, actually yes, yes I am. Probably the only thing keeping me alive. But then I don't have a CDL anymore, nor will I ever again. Getting old SUCKS!slim shady and VTSharpshooter Thank this.
