Is there a place I can go to, to be tested? The places I see are expensive. I'm in the salt lake area

Oh geeze, you poor bstrd! Oh well, we all have to live somewhere. . . :biggrin_25522:

I'm betting there are labs that will do it there. Why don't you start with IHC and see if they can point you in the right direction.

FWIW, we ain't got NO inversions down here!:biggrin_25525: ('course we ain't got no water either, they are trying to get several of these counties declared a disaster area due to drought.)

Which brings me to another thought. If nothing else, maybe you could go fight fires? Looks like it's gonna be a really long dry season this year.

OK, apparently you are new to Salt Lake as well? I didn't realize that. IHC is Intermountain Health Care. They have hospitals, clinics and labs all over the Wasatch Front and down here in SW Utah as well. They may even be all over the state, I don't know. Find 'em in the phone book, or on Google.

This is what my copies said they test for Amphetamine. I'm gonna call that clinic tomorrow and see how much a drug test would cost

The doctor can clear it up with a simple letter stating that he see saw on you on a certain date, and the medicines he prescribed. It may take time for all the usual red tape involved with trucking companies.

Make sure that your DAC is cleared as well.

Best of luck pards.......hope it all works out.

The drug you took is an ssri, and would not show up in the dot drug test, so if you tested positive for something else, then you tested positive for something else.

Trying to get yourself clear won't help, you should have asked for a second test to confirm a false positive, having a doctors note may be futile because the drug is an ssri made to treat mental disorders.
