being relatively young behind the wheel,as in the 1 year experience that you list,i'll share my opinion. i don't know much about the pam trucks other than they all seem to run at least 65. in today's pansy mega fleet mentality, 65 is a fair speed to be able to run and much better than 58,62,63,whatever but then again i am a calloused old fart that, thankfully, never had to worry about driving a slow truck. a cent or two a mile more to drive a slower truck just isn't feasible imo.
i may be wrong and i am sure i will corrected if i am.this forum is great like that. -
DGreene, dieselgirl, Swedish Chef and 2 others Thank this.

I didn't like PAM but then I got in a truck at 53 years old.
If they actually have APU and Invertor now that is a #### site better than I had! -
so at 54,has it hit you yet that perhaps you waited so many years for good reason?(probably not i am suspecting but-) many of us on here just gotta know- -

Actually it stands for Poor ### Management.
What got to me were things like sit 3 or 4 days in Laredo in summer. Drop an hour or two into my 10 at 8 or 9AM. Sit all day. Get dispatched to pick up 3 or 4 hours away at Conway where when you leave with it you don't have time to piss as you gotta get to the next terminal quickly.
#### like that.
The best time i had there was a dedicated auto parts run. Shreveport, LA on Monday morning and Lockport, NY on Thursday afternoon. Good miles and time to smell the roses. Got off of that when the 06' Freightliner I was driving went belly up in Lockport.antoinefinch Thanks this.
