being relatively young behind the wheel,as in the 1 year experience that you list,i'll share my opinion. i don't know much about the pam trucks other than they all seem to run at least 65. in today's pansy mega fleet mentality, 65 is a fair speed to be able to run and much better than 58,62,63,whatever but then again i am a calloused old fart that, thankfully, never had to worry about driving a slow truck. a cent or two a mile more to drive a slower truck just isn't feasible imo.

i may be wrong and i am sure i will corrected if i am.this forum is great like that.

Don't know what specific info you're looking for OP, but if you are a hard worker, team with a hard worker and keep the wheels turning, get your Hazmat and stay out for a couple months at a clip you will do well. New equipment has APU and inverters, well maintained, green lighted past majority of scales that helps compensate for the governed tractors. Generous fuel bonuses, good lanes. It's no secret that it isn't a good paying company so your performance needs to be well above average if you want to make some bucks. Hard work is rewarded. Hope this helps.

I didn't like PAM but then I got in a truck at 53 years old.

If they actually have APU and Invertor now that is a #### site better than I had!

My cousin worked for them and said they were terrible. He was out 6-8 weeks at a time and refused to get him home. Only made 400-500 a week team driving.

Actually it stands for Poor ### Management.

What got to me were things like sit 3 or 4 days in Laredo in summer. Drop an hour or two into my 10 at 8 or 9AM. Sit all day. Get dispatched to pick up 3 or 4 hours away at Conway where when you leave with it you don't have time to piss as you gotta get to the next terminal quickly.

    #### like that.

The best time i had there was a dedicated auto parts run. Shreveport, LA on Monday morning and Lockport, NY on Thursday afternoon. Good miles and time to smell the roses. Got off of that when the 06' Freightliner I was driving went belly up in Lockport.
