Just spoke to their recruiter, nice lady. All Peterbilts and Kenworths, 2012 and newer. Trucks governed at 70mph. They have APU'S, inverters, refrigerators, XM/Sirius satellite equipped, automatics and 9 speeds. 3wks out, 3 days home. They use a dispatch system called Carrier Web. They have Pre Pass, EZ Pass, Sun Pass, and use Transflo. They authorize 2 truck washes a month, more if approved, due to driving in nasty winter weather. Starting pay is 39cpm, paid practical miles, paid weekly and direct deposit is available. They allow up to 100$ advances a week. They pay for scales from truck stops, so no waiting to get reimbursed for it. Orientations are every Monday at 8am in Gainesville, Georgia and usually end with truck assignment on Wednesday afternoon. They run mostly frozen dairy products. They haul some produce, but never meat loads due to the wait times associated with those loads. That's about it for all the information I got from her today.

Someone came on here 2 months ago claiming how good this company is but disappeared as soon as it was mentioned that she sounded like a typical recruiter. Hasn't been back since, to my knowledge.

Just wanted to add a couple things, pay caps at .45 cpm after 4 years. .06 cpm is per diem pay.
Benefits are $48 per week for single coverage, each year the cost is lowered until at 5 years the company pays for everything.
As previously stated, Tribe hauls a lot of ice cream. Perry's out of Akron, NY and Ben and Jerrys out of Vermont were mentioned specifically.
Recruiter said drivers were averaging 3000-3200 miles per week running 48 states and Canada. A passport/enhanced license is not required, but being eligible for a TWIC card is.
Tribe requires 3 weeks out minimum, with 3 days off. No more than 4 days off at one time though.
Hope this helps your friend out. -
I find the comment about hauling produce but not meat due to wait times to be comical. I've hauled both and have sat for 2 days loading produce in California. Don't get me wrong meat houses suck too but produce isn't any better.

So this carrier mostly runs up and down the east coast?
Any regional or dedicated routes? -
I dont understand why companies still have crap hometime of 3wks out minimum. I run 48 states and have never been out longer than 12 days
-
No they run all 48 and Canada.
I agree, their hometime policy is the only thing I don't like. -
Was sounding good but nah I'll do 4 weeks and then I just did 9 days home missed a pay check but it was because I wanted too. They still sound good and from what I have seen their equipment is very nice. Keep them in mind thanks.
