Oh, here's another one. ( I'm really not that bad of a driver, after 35 years, these things do happen) I was driving a Tri-axle Mack for the asphalt co. that rode really rough, so coming up to a stop sign, I ran my left side tires on the divider line, so half my tires wouldn't go over the rumble strips. Yep, guess who was right behind me. He said, "you been drinking today,son, your truck went out of your lane" It was 9:30 in the morning, and I assured him I was sober. I told him I went around the rumble strips because the truck rode so rough. He looked at me, looked at the truck, with one eyebrow up, and let me go.

 

same here paperwork check followed by hey we have a set of portables up the road lets check your weight.

without the speeding though. most my speeding tickets are after getting in a 4 wheeler after being a truck for a long time and in area's where you increase speed just not being used to getting up to speed as quick and over shooting my speed unintentionally

I got 2 in one day on the Ohio turnpike when it was 55 for trucks.......no bull!
One was for 59 and the other was 57.....Crazy..
I had to just laugh at the second cop! Showed him the ticket from the first cop!

He didn't think it was amusing though...Man they were bad back then!

 

Got a ticket for doing 35MPH down the west slope of Donner when Cali says truck speed is 25!

 

Dang! Those Cali bass turds.....lol

 

I bet nd they are still bad, i haven't been there for a while nd i aint going up there no time soon.

 

the thing about good stories compared to outright BS
is they have to be believable
