Time for a clutch job!!!

if you don't take the flywheel off, make sure you at least replace the pilot bearing. (bearing in the center if the flywheel where the tip of the transmission shaft goes)
Yep that's the part I was talking about. I highly doubt that his clutch has a hydraulic slave. The number is on a plate on the transmission. You can call a freight dealer give them your vin and they can tell you what was stock in your truck. However like my truck it may have been changed from original. When I put my new clutch in I just went to the highest torque that would fit. I think as long as you get the right diameter any torque will fit. Just a difference of how many paddles on clutch plates. Maybe I'm wrong. But it has been working for a couple years now.
My old clutch had 4 and the one I put in has 6 paddles. NOT sure that is even the right lingo. Good luck.
