Potential hazard and CSA points at risk, what should I do??

Motor oil won't hurt a thing. The thing about leaks is they only get worse. Now I can only give you an opinion from 17 years experience that doesn't mean it's the gospel. I think you will be fine to go straight to a terminal and not have any trouble. Yes if ran run across a horses rear officer then you may have trouble. The odds of getting inspected are slim though.

 

Apparently, YOU don't have a clue. Attached is my most current PSP report that I just pulled a few minutes ago. It shows how many points I've accumulated over the past 3 years.

The reality is, that even though drivers are assessed points, the points don't count for much of anything. Points will not affect your MVR or your CDL; you can't lose your CDL because you have too many points.

The only thing that CSA driver points will affect is your employability with companies that actually care about your PSP score. And those are typically companies that you don't want to work for anyway.

 

Buy the gallon jugs of oil and stop and top it off every 50 miles, the shop will just flush the system.

OP.... Tell them to send you to a terminal or a dealer. Their choice..... No more loads.

Waiting for parts for a week? But they have the parts in stock at the terminal I guess??? I say dispatcher bull....

 

Listen to your gut. I agree on the waiting on parts, they may pull your box to have it rebuilt. That's usually a couple of days. If you get to a terminal is it possible that they will put you in a different truck. That might be the only advantage to a terminal that I see.

Crack at the bottom corner of the rear door frame of the trailer. Not the tractor frame. Reported to the owner, but repairs were deferred. The inspection was what forced him to get it fixed.
