    BINGO!
    Follow the Money Trail.
Notice, when the sates get cash-strapped, they start payin' attention to the "citizens", who've been waiting all this time for the right "Sheriff" to tame the situation?

    High Plains Drifter?

Penny wise and dollar dumb? :biggrin_25526: :biggrin_25524:

Only one problem with your response, it is well thought out, concise and makes a valid arguement. What politician is going to comprehend that? :biggrin_255:

A large truck carrying garbage overturned on Route 41 Tuesday night. (Phil Guy, WSYR-TV)

Scott, New York (WSYR-TV) - A large truck hauling garbage flipped over on Route 41 in the Cortland Count Town of Scott on Tuesday night.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old John Swarey of Waterloo was driving the truck north on Route 41 when he had to make an abrupt stop due to a vehicle in front of him.
To avoid striking the car, Swarey swerved the truck into a ditch, and the truck overturned.
A large amount of trash fell out of the truck, and the truck’s gas tank was punctured from the crash. The New York State DEC responded to help with the cleanup, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office. Swarey was not injured in the crash. The road was closed for more than 6 hours while the road was cleaned up, and the truck was removed.

In fairness - without much effort, I'm sure we could google up a story about a trash truck that overturned on the $$$Thruway$$$

Lets get a law passed that they must be drug tested daily. If they pass then they are just insane and should be locked up for our protection

I guess the rule of thumb is here, if you cant blame the road conditions on the Amish, blame it on the truckers? Give me a break!!!!:biggrin_25513:

Yep, I make deliveries in Champlain or Rouses Point and sometimes make a pick-up in Watertown. That will be GREAT to have to take I-87 all the way to Albany, just to get on the NYT west and then go north on I-89 instead of taking US 11 straight thru.
