Two strikes and they're out! This is the second time I have had a D/H scheduled at Nestle Waters in Dallas and the second time it has turned into a live load. Not what I planned on or am being paid for. Not only is it a live load, it's a live load where I have been sitting in the dock for over 2 hours and they still haven't touched me. I just went in and asked when I was going to be loaded and they said there was still one truck ahead of me. I wonder how there is a truck ahead of me when this was supposed to be preloaded? Whatever. Not coming here again unless it's my "go home" load. Grrrr!

They have a drop yard about a mile down the road to the east. Surprised they live unloaded you. I've done that run from Lees Summit before as a company driver. Maybe it was another facility though lol don't remember tall bridges.

The only things good about Nestle waters is they have a driver area with TV's and vending machines plus free bottled water. Otherwise they suck

They need to do hair drug tests on the half brained tards booking these loads.
The other day I had an open window live load.. I get there back into a dock and 2 hours later nothing.
I ask WTF is going on and the immigrant worker that could barely speak any English at the shipping office tells me to go speak to a guy on a fork lift and fork lift guy tells me my appointment was 7 hours ago and that I missed it so they'll get to me when they can.
Three hours later I'm getting nervous 1 hour 10 minutes on my clock and they're still loading me slowly. I call Schneider to let them know I'm almost out of hours and wtf should I do... well I was on hold for 40 minutes before anybody answered and all they said I have to figure it out with the shipper or get towed out. I go into the shipping office (to tell them I need to leave my trailer here and bobtail out) and tell tell me they just finished my load.
I had 20 minutes left on my clock... I hauled butt to a diner with truck parking. Made it with 3 minutes to spare.
The load paid $493 to go 104 miles miles so I really can't complain.

Next day I after camping out on the board I book a load nearby going 23 miles paying $292. Supposed to be drop and hook pallet load.
Get there and nobody in the shipper office, no bills in the mailbox. After giving it some time I call Schneider and it ONLY took them 30 minutes to answer this time and told them what's going on. They said they'll get back to me which never happened.
After waiting around forever somebody that works there shows up and I ask where my pallet trailer I'm going to drop and hook.. dude laughs and says "we never preload pallets in Schneider trailers but they keep sending drivers here looking for the same thing".
    Another disaster.....

    I've been getting good rates.....
BUT I've got to say Schneider is a shameful to not hire enough people to answer the freaking phone. How cheap and you be? I'm already pulling 14 year old trailers that are falling apart and they are too cheap to hire people to answer the phones.
I'm learning these pallet loads aren't worth the money, they actually have paid me the most BUT I've had sooooooo many problems with them.

Now we know why the pallet loads pay what they do. They're totally screwed up so they have to pay more for us to deal with them. The only time pallet loads are worth it if it's a live load appointment, costco is usually pretty good about being prepared too

This might help... Before you book a load call SNI and have customer service to call the shipper. I know this might take some time getting someone on the phone. this way it wouldn't be a surprise when you get there.
