I'll talk to my "organic" friends in Oregon see where they have found produce. Pretty good on finding the farmers markets .
So are you flying to Brazil? Or taking a "slow boat to China"
See reference below

Hope your enjoying your time out of the truck.?

Greencastle Pa. Chillin' (literally)! Check y'all later, Nap time!
Rocks Thanks this. -
This is what I mean by VERY LOOOONG trip...
First will take a cab from hotel to shuttle van and go to Atlanta International airport about 3 hrs from here...
Then, will take a plane and fly for 8:30 hrs to Brasilia (federal capital of Brasil)...
Then, will change planes after 3 hrs and fly for 3:30 hrs to Fortaleza, capital of state of Ceara...
Then, will take a cab to bus terminal...
Then, will take a bus and travel for over 5 hrs to the small town of Hidrolandia...
Then, hopefully someone will come pick me up and take me to the small village where dad lives about 30 mins away...
Actually, this trip started when I left OKC... moved all my home out of the big truck and to the rented vehicle and drove 12:30 hrs to the hotel in TN...
Honestly, I wish I didn't have to go... if it were not for my dad, I wouldn't...
And I'm seriously considering not doing this trip again... SERIOUSLY... It's EXTREMELY tiresome, EXTREMELY expensive, too bad on my hurting back...
Once there, I'll have to deal with problems, pay old taxes, help my dad, visit doctors, lawyers... not a relaxing, enjoyable vacation... not at all...
But I will love to see my dad once again... and take care of things that only I can...
But I can't wait to come back to the big truck...Ducks, FatDaddy, peterbilt_2005 and 2 others Thank this. -
Laying down on my bed at home. Had to turn on the ac in my apartment as it was pretty stuffy.

Sat view gives the impression you could get in there for some shopping with a big truck. I suppose you could call them and ask. That whole corridor is heavily industrial, so generally truck friendly. Just watch out for "no trucks" posted on side streets. All the fuel depots are in that area and they do have a problem with gas jockeys tearing thru neighborhood shortcuts LOL.
I'd also recommend a day visit and do your 10 hour break somewhere else. It's not a super bad area to be entirely avoided, but bad enough I wouldn't want to spend the night there. For what it's worth, there is a Walmart a few miles away in Duluth (I-85 NB exit 104 then west) that is truck friendly. Enter the lot on the N. Berkeley Lake Rd side. So go get your exotic, hard to find veggies at the farmers market, then post up in a safer WM lot and get anything else you might be running low on.

This is my favorite coffee:
http://www.amazon.com/Bru-Instant-Coffee-Roasted-Chicory/dp/B000JSQKA2
It's called Bru and it's made by Unilever. Lately though the wife and I have been digging our Dolce Gusto coffee maker.Rocks Thanks this. -
No offense to those who enjoy Starbucks and the like, but it usually tastes like dirt to me. There's a huge difference between that "gourmet" stuff and just some good, plain, nothing special coffee beans done right into an espresso by someone that knows what they're doing.
