-
As said follow up on it.
I would think if you got it or failed you would get a letter in the mail saying either.
My HAZMAT & TWIC took maybe a month maybe a little more but NOT 10 months!
Dave ----Sean_Reno Thanks this. -
I got my HazMat pretty quick,
-
TWIC is for ALL workers who enter an International Port of Entry on US soil.
-
If your going to be going into the piers as in hauling containers..you need a TWIC card.if your going to Canada or mexico a passport card is good.but if you think you might go to let's say the Bahamas or Europe..you need the passport book as they don't recognize the card..as for haz mat on your license...you will probably never use it unless you go to work for a company that hauls it..but if your going to get your has mat..get the twic as it takes time..and lots of companies do go to the piers..as for your passport.it only takes a couple of weeks ..being a new driver even an old one..you might get a job that you wouldn't have without these..best of luck
-
Or any airport whether international or not..as in hauling air freight..Sean_Reno Thanks this.
-
I'm 99.99% sure foreign workers on foreign flagged ships don't have to have TWIC. Its only for U.S. Workers.
-
Those that work on ships have a Z card..just for mariners..all countries have them for their ship board workers.Sean_Reno Thanks this.
-
Right. I was in the Navy... No Z card though LOL
