CoPilot Trucker 11 issues

I have it and have had no issues.. But I have plenty of computer experience. Most troubles people have with software is due to a poorly maintained computer.. In another words the hard drive is full of spy ware, excess files, and has for the most part never been defraged..

Another is software conflict.. Self explanation.. not all software is compatible and may be trying to use the same thing at the same time.. Or another words trying to step on the others toes..

1st is easy but time consuming.

Spyware should be cleaned daily or whenever possible
programs

Adaware
Spybot search and destroy
SpySweeper
Spyblaster (not a cleaner but a preventer, don't let you go to known bad sites)
AVG antispyware

Defrag I like to recommend once a month but usually should be done every few but not more then 6 without doing it....
Program
Windows standard defrag (really good but lengthy)
Diskeeper (this is what I use and love it, very fast and has many setting to automate defraging)

Whenever using a aftermarket defrag never go back to using Windows standard defrag, it can cause problems..

Junk files
CCleaner is a great program for this..

except for Diskeeper

Well I have been using copilot for several years and I would say it has well over 90% success in all address and accurate location when driven too. Sometimes you have to tweak your search a little.

If any trouble came about I always called the customer to get thier address and most important thier zip.. I started with the zip then entered the address. If that did not work then I would go online (if i had signal) and check to see if there was a anybody who shared a POI (many websites online where people send in locations of companies and you download them)..

Far as your antenna many things good be effecting it.
Brand -could be just a very cheap model that has a very poor refresh rate.
Location-perhaps you need to mount it in a differnt location..
Driver- maybe that model need a manufacturer driver and not a generic that copilot provides....




If you are having issues with any software you should uninstall it.. Clean your computer with all programs above, defrag and the reinstall..

Honestly you should try to keep your computer clean as possible, it will save you many headaches..
