Not that I know of. By the time you get done with orientation I believe you will only need 6000 miles OTR. You get a lot of miles in Atlanta. With a Trainer, 2-3 weeks max. I like the company, new pay package helped. They updated our health plans. Could be better but it ain't bad either.

How long is the orientation then? If I get that many miles during it, it must be fairly extensive.
-
Maybe I phrased it wrong. I was told new CDL Permit drivers in orientation practice various backing maneuver, s onsite. Ride\Deive local routes with local drivers. Orientation used to be 4 days. Slightly longer now. Also u get used to the automatic trans. I dearly love em. I loaded foliage out of Sanford, Fl today headed to four Oklahoma stops them Texas for my final. 1700 miles. Be done by Monday afternoon. LOL.

Just curious how's the foliage loads pay? My dad use to do that type of work to walmarts lowes etc

I'm suspose to go to South Dakota the 17th, was wondering about layover, breakdown, empty, and bobtail pay. and can you have a pet ride?
-
Yes we get detention, layover and breakdown. Not alot but we get it. No formal pet policy in effect. Some have em and most do not. U get all miles empty and loaded. Same pay.

Can anyone tell me if any Comcar trucks, MCT, WSE or CTL, use Qualcomm with the GPS system in it or do they do paper logs?
