Hey guys,
mI have an 07 Pete with an 18 speed eatin autoshift in it. It got stuck in 7th gear and I have no lights at all on the gear selector. Pulled over, shut it down, tried resetting ecu, disconnecting batteries etc. and still have no lights on the selector and an f on the display with a -. Now im stuck on the side of the road. Any ideas?

Thanks, but my issue is that there's no power going to the actual shift tower. No answers in that thread

You must have good/clean battery power to the transmission control module, there are 2 supplied
1.direct/fused from battery bank,
2.switched from ignition key..
Both must be full power, no more than .5vdc difference from main battery bank..

That is the big reason why i wouldn't take ultrashift, autoshift, or i-shift. Manufacturers target big fleets so they can come back to the shop daily with ecu issues.

Tranny is not shifting out of gear, take it the dealer for them to diagnose. (possible issues: sensor(s), tranny's power harness, trannys wiring harness going to sensors, x-y shifter, alternator-starter power cable, loose bolt on the trannys output shaft yoke...musing)
