I work out of Wamsutter WY hauling production water for Basic Energy Services. Last week they cut our pay 5 cents on the dollar, but theres no shortage of water. We run day and night shifts. You can rent a room here for around $400 a month, which isnt quite that bad. I checked our company website and there still hiring for vac truck drivers. They best part about this company is i can take time off whenever i want. I work 2-3 weeks then take a week to 10 days off so i can spend decent time with my family in Boise ID. The benifits are pretty good as well, although they just put out a notice saying the company wont match our 401k contributions until oil prices pick back up. Its a good place to get tanker experience if needed. I plan on staying here atleast long enough to get the experience i need to get a crude hauling job. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any.
