Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Thanks guys, had to do foundations again as an observer...the online coursework takes a lot of time...just driving national and training still. I'm good with that for now. Should be official resident of Texas tuesday....no more full winters...I did have enough of that.

 

Well it's been a good run here at Roehl but the time has come for me to get off the road and go home.

Yep, back to a "regular" job. I'll be turning the KW in at Gary next Friday so all you Northeast Regional folks can start lobbying Dana for this truck.

Always a little sad giving notice, Roehl has treated me well throughout but I decided about a year back that I would not go for owning a truck. The industry is just too risky for my taste.

I just got a prehire from roehl today, any company drivers on here can give me your opinion of the company? As in are you satisfied and do they keep you running decent?

 

I've been here right at 3 years now. I still like it, and still get pretty good miles. I only run 5 days a week regional so my milage is probably alittle lower than national guys but I get anywhere from 1800-2400 a week.

Gary tonight. Allentown PA (or as close as I can get) tomorrow then back to Chicago ASAP. Fueled up, washed truck, even the cafe is decent. If we get a bunch of new reefer trailers later this month as promised that will help with more D&H. More pay raises would appreciated however...

 

Man this place is dead/empty. Nothing but a few chirping crickets and couple of empty Monster energy drink cans.......
