I'm in CDL school for another few weeks but am in the hiring process with Maverick and TMC and should know something this week from both. Having a hard time making a decision between the two. I like the idea of automatics and EPU's at Maverick. Percentage pay and Peterbilts attract me to TMC. Both seem to have quality training and have competitive first year rookie salary.
Looking for professional feedback from your own experience and perspective getting into the industry with one of these two companies. I'm a 12 year Army veteran in top shape with a squeaky clean background. No tickets or accidents of any kind, no criminal background, great physical healthy so I feel like I'd be an asset to any flatbed orginization.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I would go with TMC because there program is a military approved apprentice program which allows you to use your GI Bill. So if you figure the 2 rookie pay scales then add the GI Bill on top of TMC's and there you go better pay at TMC. (And the Pete's are nicer then cascadias)

Yeah I think long run you have more options with TMC just my opinion.

The answer might depend on what they offer for freight and home time where you live.

As a soon to be military vet and am drawn to TMC for their pay.....the challenge of tarping. And promised weekly home time.
